The last activity of our 5th anniversary-Movie Night was successfully ended. Last semester, Chalmers Office in NCTU played some really nice Swedish movie for us. I thought that it was an easy and interesting way to know the culture of a country by its movies. To give students in Chalmers the same opportunity to learn more about Taiwan, we played a popular Taiwanese movie “The Secret” to all the participants.

Introduction:
This was the day just before Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival and we, NCTU Europe Office, visited the Chinese Culture Association in Sweden. This association was found by many ladies from Taiwan who were married to Sweden. Mid-Autumn Festival is also called Moon Festival, and this is the day which Chinese families all get together to appreciate the prettiest full moon during the whole year. The full moon symbolized reunion and satisfactory in our culture. This time we were far from our home and families as exchanged students. Since we miss our familily so much, and it is not easy to meet Taiwanese here in Sweden, we are very glad to celebrate the very important traditional festival with these “ Taiwanese Moms” in Sweden.
